David Hannaford has worked in the food manufacturing sector for over 40 years. In this time he has developed a strong breadth and depth of knowledge across many food operations. This has been refined through continuously striving to improve not just himself, but the teams and sites he has worked with.
David achieved his Associate of the Institute of Meat qualification at college and continued his career in the meat industry with Hygrade foods producing cooked meats. This eventually lead him to being made project manager for the Hygrade cooked meat group over 4 sites. More recently he has worked as a Process Control Manager for Oscar Mayer. This has enabled him to extend his technical knowledge across a wealth of cooked components and confirm his passion for food manufacturing. In this time he has achieved HACCP Grade 3, ILM Management and has gained vast experience in BRC 8 Lead Auditing. Throughout his 40 years experience, food safety has always been priority.

David plays golf and is a Bee keeper. His Bee Keeping is in partnership with a local land owner who promotes wild flower meadows.
